What is web design?

The Web Design is the graphical reprezentation of you site on the internet, and to make long story short, it is what your visitors see when they access your domain name.

Used technologies

Besides de graphical user interface (GUI), the web site the site can be developed with the latest technologies like:

• Standard: (x)html version, mainly static
• Ajax: dinamic version, much faster transfers and it can benefit of richer user interactivity
• Flash: dinamic version, with the highest interactivity, sounds, video and animations can be embeded etc.

How do we do it?

ZeusMedia will present to you after we sign a contract a layout (the graphical user interface - GUI), and after this the next step is the development of the project and testing it. More details can be fount in project steps.

PHP

XHTML

Abbreviation for Extensible Hypertext Mark-up Language and is a hybrid of XML and HTML. Web pages designed in XHTML should look the same across all platforms.

MySQL

MySQL is an open source relational database management system (RDBMS)that uses Structured Query Language (SQL), the most popular language for adding, accessing, and processing data in a database.

CSS

Cascading Style Sheets are a big breakthrough in Web design because they allow developers to control the style and layout of multiple Web pages all at once.

Photoshop

A professional image-editing and graphics creation software from Adobe. It provides a large library of effects, filters and layers.

XML

Extensible Markup Language is a simple, very flexible text format derived from SGML (ISO 8879). Originally designed to meet the challenges of large-scale electronic publishing, XML is also playing an increasingly important role in the exchange of a wide variety of data on the Web and elsewhere.

JavaScript

JavaScript is a cross-platform, object-based scripting language developed by Netscape for client and server applications. It is commonly used on web pages to add interactivity and dynamic content such as banner rotation.

ActionScript

ActionScript is a scripting language based on ECMAScript, used primarily for the development of websites and software using the Adobe Flash Player.
